Can we make your products in a slow cooker or soup maker?

All our products are made quickly and easily in a pan, however there are some which can be made in a soup maker or slow cooker.

We recommend that if you like your soups blended, and your soup maker will do this whilst cooking, then go ahead with any of them.
The ones which need blending (Pea, Pea and Smoky Bacon Flavour and the Spiced Carrot and Lentil Soups) work really well in a soup maker, however we would suggest just giving them a few extra blasts after cooking to ensure its as smooth as you can get them.
(Karen’s experience of making one in a soup maker that didn’t need blending, meant she spent 2 weeks scrubbing the burnt on grains from the bottom – not advised!)

The best ones we’ve found for a slow cooker are the stews (Deep South Beef Stew and Cawl – Welsh Lamb Stew) and Scotch Broth and when available the Moroccan Tagine as they go really quite thick anyway. Don’t reduce the water that is on the packet, you may need to add even more, as the longer the grains cook the more they absorb,
